The Rocket

Fall Fall Fall! Everyone was shouting.
Paul brought a red rubbery noodle, it was a rocket. Paul unrolled it watchfully and blew it up fast. Most people were making it to the very end. When it was my turn, I gingerly stepped onto the bound rocket. I flung into the clear water and slapped my leg. "Ouch!" I said.  I jumped wildly into the water, the rocket shot off. Whoever fell off had to swim effortlessly to the closest ladder.

On my way to lining up, I leaped thoughtfully into the little pool and dived for all of the squishy toys. Once I had jumped back onto the hot side, I ran across a couple more times then leaped over the side and into the other cold pool. Suddenly I saw all the Room Fives and Sixes. I grabbed all the colourful toys quickly and gathered them together. Mrs Thomson was telling everyone to get out of the little pool and get changed. "Here," said Sabriye, as she handed out all the yummy lollipops, Ashley called everyone to the splashed up side, "Well done, Room Four!" After that, Paul and Ashley pulled out two black swimming bags and gave them out.

World of Maths

"This one! This one!" Enzo shouted.
We all ran as a team to the activity. I told them the instructions out loud, "Ella you go first." Everyone had a turn then we moved quickly to the next activity. We had trouble so I raised my hand. Kath came over and helped us. We caught it. "Okay, next activity." As a team, we darted over to another fun activity. After, Kath called us all down to the hard brown floor. "That's the end," Kath said. We all scrambled out of the hall.

Year of the Monkey

sshin-nyen kwhy-ler.

Happy Chinese New Year.
2016 is the Year of the Monkey.

Swimming 2016

Splash! goes the water as we jumped in. When we first slid quickly into the cold pool. Ashley told us to run around the side of the cold pool then she told us to to turn and swim as hard as we could the other way, "Stop!'' Ashley yelled out loud. We all scrambled back to the concrete side. Next, our swimming teachers gave us numbers from one to four. Ashley called out one number at a time. When our numbers were shouted out, we darted across to the other side. The water followed me and hustled me to the wall. The hot sun reached its dazzling arms down to me and it danced in the sky. After that was the fun fun part. Ashley tossed toys in the calm air, and they landed straight into the clear blue water. We all chased after one toy each then we climbed up the hard silver ladder and vanished to the changing rooms.

Lez

Woof! Woof! Lez was excited to do the obstacle course. Cleo’s dad introduced Lez. “Lez is a gigantic dog, with burly brown eyes and dusky fur”. Quinn said, “Are you ready Lez?” Lez barked.
Leaping over the long dog jump, Lez was smiling at everyone. Smelling his tasty biscuits, he sat down carefully in the hula hoop. Walking slowly to the amber bridge, Lez safely landed on the bridge daintily. Cruising to the last part of the obstacle course, Lez heard people saying, “Let's go Lez!”
Putting the soft leash down on the sandy ground, Quinn called out to Lez. He ran as fast as lightning. Lez deserved a treat and a brilliant clap. Lez darted off the obstacle course quickly.
